Yazoo Chocolate and Strawberry drinks are now available with no added sugar, insipired by the way the body breaks down milk. The enzyme ‘Lactase’, which occurs naturally in our bodies, is added to milk before it is used to make Yazoo. This enzyme splits Lactose in the milk into two separate sugars, Glucose and Galactose, which tastes four times sweeter than the Lactose alone. The sweetness of the drink is maintained without adding sugar, making it healthier all round.
Stevia is a zero-calorie sugar replacement made from the stevia plant. It has been created to have the same sweetness as sugar, have the same gram throw and match the bulk density of sugar too. Vending operators can replace the vending machine sugar selection with Stevia without making any changes.
